Konga: A Sweet & Complex Dry Process Coffee
Konga is an exceptionally sweet (careful: we mean sweet/acid so fruity) coffee with syrupy fruit notes of raspberry, blueberry, balanced by raw sugar and earthy cocoa. Delicate dried floral aromatics give way to a chocolate-berry finish. With impressive body and milder acidity it shines at City+ and makes a fantastic espresso.
Grown at 1900–2200 meters, this dry process lot comes from Wote Konga station near Yirga Cheffe, where smallholder farmers deliver ripe cherries for careful sorting and slow drying. The station emphasizes sustainable farming, promoting organic composting and avoiding fungicides.
